The Sacrament of Communion

The Holy Communion, also known as The Lord’s Supper, is celebrated at Bells Corners United Church during the First Sunday in Lent, Easter Sunday, World Communion Sunday, First Sunday in Advent, Christmas Eve and on one or two special Sundays.

At BCUC, we use the traditional symbols of “bread” and “juice (wine)” to remind us of Jesus’ last supper and other meals with his friends and followers. We believe that God’s grace is made available to all. We welcome everyone, including youth and children, and even those who are not of the Christian faith, to partake in this sacrament.

We also offer communion to the shut-ins and those with mobility issues by contacting the minister at (613) 820-8103.
