UP youth group

UP (United People) is our youth group for ages 14 to 18. We meet at the same time as the Sunday School and follow the specialized curriculum set by our Congregational Designated Minister in cooperation with volunteers from our Worship and Christian Education Committee.

We have fun together

The UP group is an active group in the Church community. We have monthly social activities; some recent events include:

  • rock climbing

  • tobogganing

  • games night

  • movie night

  • attending a hockey game

  • and others

We help our community

We regularly participate in community outreach initiatives, such as:

  • OC Transpo food drive for FAMSAC

  • Christmas hampers for the needy with the Kanata Food Cupboard

We help our church

Finally, we provide volunteer support for church events like:

  • Garage sale

  • Christmas Bazaar

If you, or a youth you know, are interested in participating, you are more than welcome to come join us. Please contact youth@bcuc.org or join us on Sunday mornings. 

Confirmation classes

Confirmation Classes are offered for youth ages 14 and older every second year.
