Camp Awesome at Bells Corners United Church
What is Camp Awesome?
Camp Awesome is a summer day camp and youth leadership development program that operates within the Eastern Ontario Outaouais Regional Council (EOORC) of The United Church of Canada.
Camp Awesome provides a full-day, active program for children. The program combines Vacation Bible School activities like stories, songs and crafts with games and theme day fun.
Through our programs, Camp Awesome strives to promote a sense of belonging to a faith community, encourage critical thinking, promote respect for others and the environment, and provide a safe and fun environment for social, personal and faith development.

Summer 2024 Dates
Camp Awesome will be at BCUC for two sessions:
July 29 - August 2, 2024
August 6 - 9, 2024 (short week)
Programs
Children ages 4 to 12 participate as campers.
Tweens ages 12 to 13 ready for a new camp experience can register for the CA Crew. Part of the day will be spent with the other campers and part will be spent learning new skills, assisting with special service projects and small group time.
Teens ages 14 to 15 are wanted to participate in the Leader in Training Program.
Older teens ages 16 and above are needed as counselors. (Participation in the Leader in Training program is not required.)
Camp Hours
9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Extended care (no additional cost) is available 8:00 - 9:30 am and 3:30 - 5:00 pm.
Camp Fees
July 29 - August 2: $175 per child
August 6 - 9 (short week): $140 per child

Financial assistance is available through a bursary. We want your children to be able to participate in Camp Awesome - do not hesitate to contact the church office at (613) 820-8103 or office@bcuc.org if you need assistance.
Camper fees include program supplies and two snacks each day for the week. Campers are required to bring their own nut-free bagged lunch each day and a water bottle.
